Public hearings on Ridgeline Townhomes, Nelson Commercial and Shady Oaks land use changes.
On 20 OCT 2026 the City Council holds four public hearings on land use. Three are map and zone changes (45 townhomes on SR 51, a 3.18-acre commercial rezone on South Main, and a 2.54-acre mixed-use change on River Bottoms Road), and one is a code change on the Planning Commission. Residents can speak at the 6:00 PM meeting or send written comments.

Spanish Fork's Planning Commission and City Council hold public hearings on 07 OCT and 20 OCT 2026 on zone changes for Shady Oaks Event Center, Builders FirstSource, Nelson Commercial and Ridgeline Townhomes, General Plan changes for Shady Oaks and Ridgeline, and two Title 15 amendments. Hearings are in the Council Chambers, 80 South Main Street. Written questions and comments go to the Community Development office and are forwarded to the City Council.

Public hearing on up to $30,000,000 in county sales tax revenue bonds for a new public works facility.
On 07 OCT 2026 the Utah County Commission adopted a resolution authorizing up to $30,000,000 in sales tax revenue bonds to build a new public works facility, and called a public hearing for 04 NOV 2026 at 2:00 pm in Room 1400 of the County Administration Building, 100 East Center Street, Provo. The bonds would be repaid from county option sales tax revenue over up to 21 years, with an estimated total principal and interest cost of $37,561,157. Residents can speak at the hearing, examine the resolution at the County Clerk's office, and have 30 days from publication to contest its legality.
