University Ave. Suite 117 Provo, Utah 84601 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Utah County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at its regular meeting on October 20th, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 1400 of the Utah County Administration Building, 100 East Center Street, Provo, Utah, to consider and receive comments for the following: - Request from Salem Park Residents and Wildlife Coalition for a proposed Utah County Land Use Ordinance text amendment to Section 8.44 and any other applicable section, to 1) designate electric power transmission and distribution lines of 345 kV and over within a new transmission corridor as a permitted conditional use in any zone, or 2) propose additional/amended development standards for electric power transmission lines of 345 kV and over and associated substations Additional information can be found at https://codev.utahcounty.gov/planning-commission/2026/10.
