Implementing Effective Rapid Design and Prototyping Strategies for Augmented/Mixed/Virtual Reality (AR/MR/VR)
Abstract
Teams building augmented, mixed, and virtual reality systems repeatedly over-invest in high-fidelity prototypes before they have answered the questions a paper sketch would have settled in an afternoon. This talk works through which rapid design and prototyping methods actually earn their cost at each stage of an immersive project, drawn from the thirteen head-worn display experiments behind the dissertation.
